Casa delle Follie
Italian couple Fabrizio (1979, Punte San Pietro) and Guiseppe (1963, Milano) started “La Casa delle Follie” in 2018. A little bar with drag shows in Barrio Santa Cruz. A year later they moved to the bigger location where they are now, the beautiful corner building at Avenida Doctor Ramon y Cajal.
Fabrizio and Guiseppe are very experienced hosts. For seven years they owned a theatre bar in Bergamo called “La Maison de Miss Aurora” with Fabrizio in drag as his alter-ego Miss Aurora. Aurora is very famous in Italy, presented a cooking show on SKY and a show about soccer on RAI and she also joined Italy Got Talent. In 2016 the couple married and lots of press were present. In the morning they were dressed classic, as men, but in the afternoon Fabrizio was an all-the-way bride.
La Casa delle Follie is a theatre bar with drag shows. They have a great cocktail menu and serve little tapas. Because they are a lounge bar with a Sala Fiesta-license, there is also a dance floor. When there are no shows, La Casa delle Follie likes to play disco tunes from the eighties and nineties.
Their artists are “fijo” which means they exclusively work for La Casa delle Follie. A few names: La Rubia y Calva, La Morena, Yeray and Lilly Svetlana. More about these artists in later blogs.
Fabrizio let go of his alter-ego Miss Aurora and only performs at his own Alicante bar dressed as “un chico” named Romeo Formedable, but since they live in Spain (Villajoyossa) Guiseppe started drag shows under the name Mafalda.

Opening hours Thursday and Friday: 20:00 – 01:00 o’clock, Saturday and Sunday: 16:00 – 01:00 o’clock.
Shows: Thursday 23:00, Friday 21:00 and 23:00, Saturday and Sunday 19:00, 21:00 and 23:00.
As soon as the COVID-restrictions are over, you can also enter La Casa delle Follies without reservation for a show to have a drink at the bar.
