ES REBOLLO
The gay beach between La Marina and Guardamar is called Es Rebollo.
The town of La Marina (municipality of Elche) has several beaches, together 5 kilometers long. In the north Playa del Pinet with beach houses by the sea and a small hotel in retro style. From there to the south the beach of the same name, La Marina, where the restaurant Candela is located. And if you go more towards Guardamar, you get Es Rebollo (photo) and Playa de los Tusales, where “clothes are optional”.
Hence very popular with the LGTB+ community and recognizable in the summer by a large rainbow flag in the dunes. If you walk from La Marina to Guardamar and see a lonely palm tree (photo) in the dunes, then you are just too far.
It is best to park at the camping just past La Marina, towards Guardamar. You also have three gay friendly restaurants there, such as Costa 21 and Llit D’Lleo.
The 4 kilometer long pine forest starts directly from the car park, where there is a large cruising area at the height of the rainbow flag towards the forest.
